Is Agency Financial Desk a separate company?

No. Life Gateway built and runs Agency Financial Desk as a partnership platform. Life Gateway and its advisors provide the services behind it.

Will you compete with our agency?

No. Agency Financial Desk is built to work alongside independent P&C agencies. We do not solicit or compete for your property and casualty business.

Will you contact our clients without our approval?

The outreach process, target audience and messaging are set with your agency before activation begins. The partnership is not meant to create uncontrolled or unauthorized contact with your book.

Do we have to give you our entire client database?

No. A partnership can start with a small group of clients you pick, or one defined segment. Broader activation should happen only after the process has been tested and both sides are comfortable with it.

Does our agency need to hire anyone?

No. The model gives you specialist capability without recruiting, hiring or managing an in-house life and retirement professional.

Does the agency owner need a life insurance license?

Not to have an introductory conversation about the partnership. To participate in carrier-paid life insurance or annuity compensation, the agency owner must hold the required license, appointments and training.

How is the agency owner compensated?

Once all applicable requirements are met, the agency owner may be contracted within the appropriate producer hierarchy and paid directly by participating insurance carriers. Exact compensation depends on the product, carrier, contract level, state and applicable requirements.

What types of client needs can be addressed?

Depending on licensing and product availability, conversations may cover life insurance, fixed and fixed indexed annuities, retirement income strategies, legacy protection, long-term care and related protection needs.

Who conducts the client meetings?

A properly licensed and appointed Life Gateway advisor handles discovery, education, recommendations and the application.

Can we test the concept before committing our entire agency?

Yes. We often suggest a focused pilot with a small number of households. Your agency can review client response, appointments, opportunities and placed business before expanding.

How much work is required from our staff?

It depends on the model you choose. It can range from agency-approved outreach run mostly by Agency Financial Desk to a hands-on warm-introduction process involving your staff.
